Bad as I hate to admit it, I cuaght one many moons ago off I-10 down in Woman Hollering Creek. I was 17 and had a good looking pit in my truck on the way to San Antonio when I saw one lonely sow and not much traffic so teenage stupidity got the better of me. If that was any of yalls land, I apologize. It was 10 years ago so hopefully y'all can forgive me.
The first time I hunted with the Hefernan brothers their dogs had one bayed on the Garmin but we couldn't hear them so we took of, walked forever and got to where we could hear them plain as day, but couldn't see them anywhere! Turned out like 5 dogs and a good sow were all down in this big post hurricane blow down sand cave with a bunch of brush covering the entrance! John had to slide in while I held his belt and pulled him up. Then we both pulled the sow with all the dogs still attached up out of that hole.
It ain't downtown Houston, but I thought it was pretty cool.
