My cat gyp just done the same thing and she had her litter in the hole.I tried to put the pups in the barrel and she would carry them back as fast
as I could put em in the barrel.I tried putting more bedding in the barrel but she drug it out and covered her pups with it.I figured they was gonna drowned in the storm but got up the next mornin and she figured it out and carried her pups to the barrel.Natural instinct usually is best.
