Agree and disagree, I agree with your statement about what bottom is, disagree that it can't be used for a cd. Maybe not to the same extent as a bay dog but I want a cd that can handle a hog for a long time. I have had my dog on hogs for an hour before. I don't make a habbit of it but he usually gets cut at first bark or even hunts on the ground. Sometimes he catches in a sounder and the bay dogs go with another pig and we go to them, or he will strike his own pig, ect ect. I want him to be able to be able to track, trail, stop, and hold a pig for a good amount of time just like a bay dog just a different style when he gets the pig to stop or gets to the bay lol.
