All my dogs are on chains, always have been. The only time they go in pen is if their in heat, hurt, or having pups.

we got. About 25 dogs all on chains they stay better in shape I think we also have a heat pen and puppy pen but that's it I love the ideas of both I will build kennels if a dog last long enough to retire
