  A man by the name of Richard Brooks from Silsbee Tx owned him. My old dog is His Grand pup. He was just as good of a producer as he was a hog dog. I know of several old timers that used him pups to catch cattle and hogs in the woods. Most of them claim they were the best dogs they ever owned. One of my best friends grew up with Richards boys and hunted with the dog. I have some of his blood.
