heck most of my dogs will sing a hog a song after it is jumped. I only have one that is semi open while working a track though. if your dog is finding hogs I wouldnt give it another thought.
to me once a hog has been located the hog knows he is being chased so a dog giving a little mouth aint gonna make the hog run any harder.
