Money is on the north side, so land is more expensive.  Living to the south is cheaper, people are more down home, and there's less traffic.  Plus, you are closer to hog country. 

Try along HWY 181, IH 37S, US Hwy 281S, IH35S, or along LOOP 1604 of the southside
