I think the drive of a certain dog defines how fast it is. My brother has a ybmc very leggy and lean that runs beside the rhino going 30 mph ( no lie!!) but I've watched him get burned by a 50# shoat at nite while I held the light on the hog
makes no dang sence! My redtick chased a 60# sow out of the woods the other night and ran her down in the middle of an open pasture like it was nothing but he runs a track at a medium pace. Fastest curs I've seen are well built like a rock and not to bulky. These dogs could scat!!!
