I can sell you a mosquito misting system for around 1500, yes it's pricey, but you can not only cover your dogs, but it will come with enough materials to cover your home and a large portion of your yard. And keeping the bugs off your wife and babies from here on out ought to be worth a lil ol 1500.
The systems consist of a barrel, pump, motor and timer, and tubing/ nozzles. There's a certain trick to nozzle spacing and the way you install the tubing, but it's easy enough you can do it yourself.
