I look forward to hearing how he catches, he is definitely gonna be thick... He looks like a little angus bull.

I never started a catch dog before. He's 8 months. I use to bring him everyday in the woods with me to feed my
hog in the pen but he showed no interest in the pig. Maybe 1 or 2 barks from outside the pen. I quit taking him
about 3 months ago. Any suggestions as to when and how to start him would be appreciated. I have a spot in
Mississippi that I can work him  with another catch dog but that won't be later till the fall. He will be about a year then.  I have a barr about
150 in a  8 x 16 pen. Just need a little guidance .  Also awhile back there was a post that mentioned some sort
of exercise or workout you could do to prevent head shaking and re gripping. I searched but can't find it.
