bryant did you build that trailer? thats kinda the idea im going for to build my new one

Yes I did.  Started with an old boat trailer, although all said and done it would have been easier to start from scratch.  If I could offer any bit of advice it would be this:

When you first start, lightly tack your springs and axle under the trailer.  Once you are finished, weight the whole rig and get an overall length from tip to tip.  There is a formula (can be found on internet) which is basically a ratio of weight to length that will tell you where to properly place the axle.  Jack it up, knock the shackles loose and get the axle in the right place.  Tongue weight is critical.  Not enough and it will whip and pull like hell going down the road...too much and your atv will have hell moving it around through the woods.
