Simply said..bottom = not giving up.

Whether it is a catch dog or a hunting dog, I believe a dog must not give up on catching or hunting game.

I kinda disagree here....if my best dog or CD is cut down (life threatening) I'd much rather them give up and come back to me. Give me a chance to save them...let them work another day. No doubt about it...my Emmet CD would be dead if he stayed after that last group....as it is...he'll be heading back out REAL soon.
