I have seen what infection has done. It's hard to predict. I have seen dogs that looked like they would never make it pull thru and I have seen dogs look fine die over night. Keep him clean and give him the shots like you were saying. If you ever have a dog rip the gums around his top canine I would stop hunting immediately and get vaccinating. It's on borrowed time. How's your dog doing
