Sounds like the dogs did a heck of a job on a bad hog.
  I would get that dog on some Kaflex sp.? antibiotics. Anytime a dog is cut internally, you run major risk of infection. Also keep a eye, to make sure that air is not leaking from the chest cavity. That could cause a collasped lung. Good luck with him.
