I don't think just the breed will contribute to each other as the dogs themselves will. It depends on what you want the pups to be like range, bottom, grit ect. You should be looking at these attributes when breeding and breed them if they fit your style of hunting and have the talent you want and would want to produce pups with the same or close to the same attributes.
