Short- feet too 300 yds (better be gritty as heck/hog stopping machine or dang near straight catch to keep a spot on the yard)
Mid- 300 out to 600 yds on the regular, not just once in its life. And not just because it got on a hot track. Just hunting out is where you judge. Long- 700 out too "we need to start heading that way, or we might be in another county". These are nice on big areas you can hunt but if you have small spots they can get you in a bind, and have you knocking on doors asking to go on land that's no where near where you let out.
