You can give a comfortis tablet to any pup over 14 wks.  The tablets vary in size by the weight of your pup, so when you do crush them up you don't know 100% which pup is getting which dose. May be better off to just buy them each a tablet according to their weight to make sure everyone is getting the full, correct dose. Depending on your flea problem, your pups should be good for at least a month or more. We are able to skips a couple months in a row with our dogs.  Also, it is okay to give an nursing mother comfortis, most of it is passed through her waste than her milk and just wash her pups with dawn.
