Briars and vines can be tough. You got to hit them at the right time, and glyphosphate(Roundup) ain't gonna do squat to them. My spray guy told me Ally works the best on them. Also we have had luck with Banvel but it is super expensive and almost impossible to find this year. Remedy with surfactant will do just hit them as they are blooming and be prepared to hit them again the following year. It may take 2-3 years to get rid of them
