I have had 3 with racks and about 5 buddies with racks and have never seen one limit somewhere it could of gone if it didn't have one. Just use same width and length and you will be fine. The best ways to do it if your skills are limited is use a rear atv rack and make some brackets. One of my favorites was my buddies with a rear drop rack for a fourwheeler on the front. One of the cheaper ways is buy a rear cargo rack for a truck. They are really cheap and just lay you a piece of rubber in it for the dogs.
