All too often people take for granted basic freedoms until it is too late.  The right to hunt and fish in Texas is one of those rights that while it may seem to be irrevocable, is not truly guaranteed.  Tomorrow, Texas voters have the opportunity to change that by voting “YES” on Proposition 6, a state constitutional amendment to protect the Lone Star State's tremendous outdoor heritage.  This proposed amendment to the Texas Constitution will guarantee the right to hunt, fish and harvest wildlife and ensure that wildlife management decisions continue to be based on science – not emotional arguments peddled by outsider extremist groups.

Look for the following language on your ballot:

Proposition 6: “The constitutional amendment recognizing the right of the people to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife subject to laws that promote wildlife conservation.”

Spread the word to family, friends and fellow sportsmen that a YES vote on Prop 6 will protect Texas' outdoor traditions for generations to come!
