Goose87...that pup that went round and round at the bays sounds like a stock dog windmilling...

Golfdog...sounds like you already have some good suggestions...something else to consider...

A pup at the tree can be ruined by aggressive dogs at the tree who are greedy about the prey...they can really chew a pup up...same thing can happen at the bay especially if the hog is caught or wore down...an aggressive dog can cause a major set back for a pup...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
