I have seen coon dogs, hog dogs and cow dogs that have had too much E collar and would not hunt or work with any kind of collar with a receiver on it. The old Cotton dog of Ben Jordans would trail a cow for miles and stay until you found him but would not hunt or work with a tracking collar on.
