Might've gotten burn on a dog

Kind of reminds me of a male dog I tried yrs ago on a trial...I new the guy and somewhat trusted him so I took the dog out and put him on hogs that first morning.. he went out and wouldn't even bay hogs I was lookin at that we actually walked up on. Dog stayed at my feet and he was the only dog I brought out that morning.. Dog was 4 yrs old at the time and had a couple of scars on him, so I didn't understand it at all.. Well ,, I brought him back and told the feller so no hard feelings and I went on my way.. About 1 month later,, I heard of a another guy had bought the dog and that feller knew one of my buddies so I asked him how the dog is working for him.... Man,,, that dog ended up catchin tons of hogs for that guy,, don't know why he didn't hunt for me,,, never had a dog do that to me but it happened that time.. one thing I have learned is all dogs are different and they have their own personalities..
