Been using it for five years and no fleas Cept if I pick some up from other folks dogs hunting sometimes but they don't last long here around the house if they make it back home. I dilute and use a sprayer around the runs per instructions couple times a year in got months as well. It a termitacide and they active ingredient is fipronil like in frontline. I draw it right out the bottle in a small syringe and put it directly on the dogs between shoulder blades and a small bit on too base of tail. Using the end of syringe to kinda work it in under the fur and spread slightly while I apply it.
Last year I switched to dominion 21, a concentrated termitacide as well. It's active ingredient is imidacloprid. The same active ingredient in k9 advantix.
Both these insecticides are supposed to remain active in the dirt for five years to kill termites and that obviously would help with anything else as well such as the larval form of the fleas before they morph and start sucking on the dogs as they stay in the dirt around were a flea lays it's eggs in that cycle of life So much cheaper to by the sort of things when they aren't marketed to dogs.....same stuff but they love to jack pet owners knowing folks spend arm and leg for little fifi to pompom. Lol
Same with ivomec instead of heart guard.
