In one of your pics, the dog is padlocked to the chain. Do you have to do that to keep someone from stealing them??
Robster, that is my uncles old dog. He gave her to a friend several years ago. I'm not sure why he keeps her pad locked to the chain as he lives on a farm and doesn't have an issue with people coming around. My guess would be so that none of his grandchildren get playing with her and let her off the chain. He lives a few minutes from the swamp and if his dogs get loose they go hunt and won't come back for several days. Also, that dog has aggression issues with other females and has almost killed a few on his yard so he keeps her separated
