You had me on that one too...I’d never heard of it.
Had to read up because it sounded interesting.
Brackett, was a Breeder iof German shepherds.
He primarily focused on breeding around stud dogs.
Lots of interesting stuff...
So one of his main formulas was:
‘Let the sire of the sire, be the grandsire of the dam” in gen after gen....
Seems a lot of folks in all dif breeds follow that formula successfully without even knowing that it is what they are doing
