I use a hog head with the meat of the neck on...
Before feeding pups their morning meal throw the head in the middle of the yard and turn the pups loose and they will go to it and all will pile up and eat...I don’t let them over eat...I want them to want more when I pull them off...they will be between 5 and 6 weeks old...
The next time I tie a line to a hog head and then I drag it on the run so they give chase...again I let them feed on it for a little while...
The idea behind these exercises is to instill hog in their minds...
