Good hogs and dog work bud. Glad to hear your boy is still enjoying hunting with you. You dam sure showed how much you care for Hambone. I had a local woman vet look down her nose on me the first time or two I brought dogs to her. Over time she has become a lot friendlier and told me she now realizes there are hog doggers who actually take very good care of their dogs. I’m sure you left a positive impression on those yuppies in the city.

I was running 1 bay with one catch dog for a while last year. My bay dog started to help catch and I knew it was just a matter of time before a rank boar put me out of business. I went back to running 2 catch dogs to keep him alive. I understand exactly what you mean when you say Hambone can’t be replaced.
