I hate it too Reuben. Buddy of mine made a “fishing line”. I think I’m gonna copy it. Pretty sure it’s just rope used for tying off boats. It’s about 20’-30’ long and he keeps it rolled up on a little flat spool. Has a snap on one end for the bulldog. Just cast him out, let him set the hook, and reel him in. He just keeps it on his buggy so it isn’t anything extra to carry on your person. Works best snapped to the vest at the shoulder D ring.
