Good lookin pups Paul!! I was thinking about buying me a mule, but if these pups end up Max and Strokes size or bigger, i may just buy one of them, throw a saddle on it, and ride it to the bay!!  Cheesy

Trent, I believe they might just be able to carry you.   lol

Man those should be nice! Is that the same breeding as the dog in your avatar? Wish you were closer to GA!

GA, they have a different dad! but he was exactly the same size but much better bred. and had a gorgeous head. and yes my avatar is one I raised from last litter but a boy out in West TX owns that dog now. I have another one just like him we call MAX.

Max and the dog in your avatar are good looking dogs! Does the dogo add any hunt/nose to the bulldog?

I can only speculate that it probably does, I have had them wind several hogs, Max even one outed a nice big Boar one night while running loose, he took it about 700 yds and caught it, all solo but I dont hunt like that I use them as a lead in CD.

GA, my Max dog is about 20 mths old and has caught around 350 hogs, he misses a few but if they will stand and fight they are gonna get caught!

Did it take much to get them started? Do you know of anyone that uses one of your pups for a RCD/one out dog?

I dont know of any that is being used that way but we started them in a pen as a pack 4 of them and they started out baying and chaseing a hog around a 7 acre pen and it didnt take long for them to get gritty to the point that they were catching soon. Started them in the woods at about 7 mths old and turned them in behind a finished CD. @ 10-12 months Max was our CD after loosing a couple of our finished CD's. He has been up to bat ever since. The best thing about them is the manners and handle they have, they dont come any better. You cant make one of them fight. Ive had several dogs jump on max and he just turns his head and ignores them.
