Saturday morning our hunt in Buffalo got canceled so we set up to hunt the 'Land of the Runners' again. Jim Ed had gotten away from his busy nightlife over in San Antonio and was staying for the weekend, Marshall Mims, Big E and I went to the lease. We invited Boarninja and Nick to make the hunt with us, but Allen had to work lol sorry nick Anyways we try hunt a new area of the place as they've recently burned the National Forest and were hoping to find some good hogs that may have been pushed in. We put Clyde, Girlfriend, Briar, Drake and Fawn down.. After a while the dogs had rolled out a long ways a few times never really putting anything together. Briar bumped a deer and once we got everything caught back from that I walked everything except Drake down to this deer stand. You could tell there had been dome good hogs hanging in the area with the food plot littered with tracks. Although they hadn't been to the corn feeder as corn was still in the ground. All the dogs roll in hunting back to the north. They're all between 400 and 700 yards when Girlfriend bays at 795 yards! Everything gets there quick and is hammering. I was on foot and able to get in and get some great video footage. Big E and marshall show up and add Bob and Boogie to it. The Barr was backed up in a stump hole and was a rank lil sucker as the video shows. Big E legged him and I had to come in to help flip... Caught hog 295 Barr  video Well we're sitting there, Marshall unsuits Obama cuz he was pretty hot and got a good cut to his shoulder. We're talking about how girlfriend is already 500 yards and rolling on when at 26 YARDS directly behind us where we just walked in Clyde bays, Briar soon sounds off and confirms there's another hog laid up. It desent take much and they have him in a creek spinning. Watch fawn come flying in and try and catch him when he runs at Boogie. Anyways we send Obama and this Barr was just as rank, he's throwing him everywhere, we're desperately trying to get him caught before he tumbles into a washout but no luck. As you can tell at the end of the video.. it was steep! Big e gives me a shove and I superman that hoe lol caught hog! 310 Barr.. Enjoy  video  big e's ranger in a bind!  |

looks like alot of bacon for the freezer  great hunt and pics and awesome video ..any dogs hurt  looks like that red and white got hammered and back of a little ,smart dog ,they looked good  |

Thanks everyone!! All dogs are fine, that red and white is my gyp Fawn.. She got it the worse down her back and flank wen they rolled into the washout and he landed on her! A few staples and just another beauty mark luckily
