Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Man since you said that you got me thinking. I was like dang they are big for 4 months, they are 5 months. They were born August 1st. Either way I'm happy with how they are!!!

Good looking pups! I like them yella dogs personally.. have u tried that pup that ur struggling with with an older dog yet? It might just be that it's gonna take him to turn on a little while later. I had a dog that wouldn't bark at a hog until ten months at a year and a half old was one of the better dogs around my yard!

Yea i have put her with an older dog and nothin... She will chase one if it runs by her or if a pig squeels she runs up and gets excited. I reckon she is just a little later of a bloomer than her sis (the light yeller dog). O well time will tell!!

The two red ones came froma guy down here in alice. I believe he said he got em from odessa, said he could get the paper but i dont care about em. The other two i got from a guy up around edna, he gave em to me. I have bought two papered black mouths from his son in law, and he said he just wanted em to go to a good hunting home. He just bred em off dogs on his yard. As of now the only dog i have had problems with not bayin is that one. And i got 5 dogs under a year, so i got a good start to my own blood!!!
