Just gettin' around ta puttin' a few pics up of last Sunday's hunt... was nice and cool but windy as hell!!! Hunted all day and did ok, had my daughter Fin with us frammin' through the woods all day so that sure made it more fun!!!
First drop of the mornin', saw a big hog come off the field... tried to put them on his track and they winded this lil' baystard instead!!

Vid to above catch... Shine had him caught for a while, but with us havin' ta come in slow with Fin, she turned loose and bayed, so Bucho got to play

... don't know if he's gettin' faster or just plain lucky... but he ain't missed in a long time

One of Lee's friends and a boar bayed by Sawfish, caught by ol' Snapps...

Big area we call the MyrtleBrush... head high thick brush with palmettos, cattle tunnels meandering throughout... stuff holds heat in real bad and we always seem to get somethin' cut or overheated when we get in it and today was no exception... kicked Whaler and Sawfish out, they rolled out a half and caught this lil' red shoat...

...both perty hot, we chilled for a bit before moving on... Whaler quick like jumped a good hog and they were off to the races... Sawfish fell out and over, literally... poor sucker came wobbling back to us, fell over, and started cramping up so bad his jaw locked lol... while they tended to Sawfish, I headed in after Whaler with Bucho in hand... little did I know what I was in for...
... he ran off the Garmin perty quick, NEVER turnin' this dog out again without a radio collar on.. that is a fact... he ran into the sawgrass over 3 miles... deeper than any of us have ever gone.... finally heard a bay, eased in to find Whaler face to face with a big black boar hog bout 250 in about thigh deep water... soon as I saw them, the boar broke and ran back THREE MILES with Whaler in tow to where we started...

... now when I say this was some rough walking... I ain't exaggerating...

.. by the time I got back close to where we started I was smoked, cramping up myself... had to lay down in the swamp water myself to keep from overheating!!! Hog looped behind me and I grabbed Whaler as he came by... too much for me... too much

On my little jaunt, I probably saw 10 different hogs over 200#'s, and several good sized groups... I know where they are now... just gotta go through hell to get to em LOL!!!
... met back up at the truck and took a looong break, hung out with the kids while Lee and another friend took Camo and Snapps in for a round....
Fin and baby GG listening for the dogs

Let Lee carry Bucho in with him and it was a good thing... heard Snapps bay(very rare thing

) and we all came in when we heard the squealin'!!

Made one more drop on the way out and Shine/Spin relayed on a pile of chit hogs lol... started out with this lil' sow and probably had another half dozen killed in less than 30 minutes... good end to a good day!!!!
