Dumped the dogs at dark for the second time since deer season and pulled up 200 yards into the Pecan bottom. Rebel, RJ, and Rain hooked it into the north wind at 100 mph. RJ and Rain sat down and bayed at 800 yards, and I noticed Rebel was running the river right back at us. We took of in the geo to meet rebel and try and turn the hogs. As we were headed that way, he showed treed on the garmin, and I could hear one squealing. Went to him and stuck the little sow he had caught then he honored his two sons. We drove in on the bay and crossed the river. Shot a 200 lb sow and broke the group with the gun shot. They ran about 400 yards before they shut down this good boar hog. I took my time getting there as we drug the big sow across te river to take to my buddy who makes hog jerky. Drove down the river and crossed once more. As we came up out of the river bank, I turned my new light on and sat back and watched the dogs working this big guy over. He chunked Rain and tried to make a run, so I went ahead and put a bullet in him
