Well me and Wyatt decided to do some duck hunting yesterday morning and some hog hunting yesterday evening! I drove over to Clyde to get away from town for a couple days and hang out with my good buddy! So I loaded the truck and ranger down and headed that way we had a pretty decent duck hunt for just messing around we ended up killing 9 birds! But we had a even better hog hunt! We weren't having much luck at first and we finally got down in this canyon by a feeder and my penny dog and trapper dog took it bout 900 yards and sit down and started hammering we worked are way to em the other dogs had joined in and we had a group of prolly 20 or 30 hogs bayed we had 2 hogs caught and then 2 split bays as well killed the 2 small pigs then penny rolls out to .60 sits down got this big old sow bayed up on the back side of a government lake and it sounded pretty as ever we get down there send the bulldogs she tosses em makes a run for the lake and loses the dogs! We sit there for a bit Wyatt hears the pig breathing in the water pepper gets back in the water goes bout 200 yards down and sow get outs out and runs bout 400 yards and pepper gets it bayed up in a ole creek bed and we get down there the pups join in with her and we got a solid bay send the bulldogs and we finally get her caught after a long long run! We cut shoulders off to feed the dogs and are headed home by 9 was a super fun hunt and had a good time with one of my really good friends!
