Any of y'all seen this yet. How many of y'all will be effected. Folks better get right and show ourselves to be a benefit not a problem. This will continue to happen if we can't get a handle on the ones that are causing problems. Shotgun Arkansas

hog hunters have become the plague of dog hunters in recent years , it's a shame these things have to happen but the very few will or have all ready ruined the sports reputation for the many .

i wonder if that is the new name for temple inland. or maybe a "new" company under the same umbrella as temple inland.
yes, it is a shame that the bad apples spoil the whole bushel. was it the same in the deer dogging days, the few bad ruined it for the rest of the good? could that be why deer dogging is now a story to tell the grandkids of what used to be?

Weyerhaeuser has stopped running deer dogs on property they own in north LA as well. It's gonna get bad if we can't all get in one page and stop these bad apples. We can't continue to be the I will do what I want mind set and respect the neighbors.

Here is my opinion for what it is worth...like I have said before...lots of folks talk a bunch of noise on the deer hunters yet these are the guys who pay the big bucks toaren't involvedt...they bring lots of business to the areas...plus pay big money to lease a deer lease buy liscence to hunt amongst many other items...they stay in motels and go to resteruants etc...etc...so when they complain the leasers will listen...I garuantee you some hog doggers will run dogs at night during deer season and the hunters camping out at the lease can hear what is going on...I wouldn't doubt it that someone on a wheeler will go in and run over s bunch of pine saplings and that flies like a lead balloon with the timber companies....
What the deer hunters don't realize is that they are just a little further down the list to loose their hunting privileges as well...I wouldn't be surprised if the anti's aren't involved somehow...the master plan is to divide us and they will conquer...
I WILL ALWAYS SAY THIS...UNITED WE STAND...DiVIDED WE FALL...
FOR TO WIN THIS WAR WE WILL HAVE TO UNITE WITH THE BIRD HUNTERS...DEER HUNTERS...TRAPPERS...FISHERMAN...AND WE MUST UNITE WITH THE MRS...ONLY THEN THE TIDE WILL TURN IN OUR FAVOR...

Dang. That is a B$!&# ...I will say that i try my best to do everything the right way. I wont say ive never been on some property where i shouldnt have been but i was in and out , didnt cut and fences, didnt leave any trash, and was honestly just getting the dogs that wouldnt come when called. I reckon we can all say that. At some point in time. But yall are right. The folks that just think they can hunt anywhere anytime and do as they please in the woods CAN AND WILL ruin it for the rest of us. Sad but true .

Ms LA I just saw the BSL issue. We all need to do our best to stay on top of issues that effect us hunters be it in a state we live in or not. We all know precedence is all it takes to make folks think it's ok to do in the next place.

The pastime of hunting with dogs is in serious trouble...
I just recently acquired a FB account. Some people affectionately call me a "creeper". I don't post, just like to look to see what's going on and who's hunting near some of my places.
Makes me cringe at how many idiot videos there are of guys letting their dogs work in small, crippled up pigs. By seeing the condition that some of their dogs are in I can only imagine how they act in the woods.

Yep and what ever u do don't tell them their dog looks poor cause next thing ya know they will be having a fit.
Dog hunters have an uphill battle before us. Years ago most folks kept a dog or 2 and even if they didn't they had hunted with grandpa or dad or uncle somebody that ran dogs. They had an understanding. In the 80's when deer were scarce the dog hunter was everyone's friend. Cause when he showed up someone was gonna kill something. Today the deer are plentiful and a mans Johnson is measured by the horns on his wall. Most have no knowledge of dogs other than the stories around the campfire from others that have no clue about dogs. Take all that then throw in the irresponsible dog hunters and well we got a mess. Maybe just maybe we can hold it together long enough the fad changes.
