Yah I don't know if I got somethin wrong with me .. I get just as wound up when bird dogs are Runin , Runin , Runin .. Bamm catch that sent and lock up on point .. It's about the same feeling as When I hear hog dogs bayed up .. Well almost haha
I just like dogs that give it their all and have so much want to you'd have to be blind to not see it ..
Thanks
Take care Chris Hearne

Those are great pics. You just cannot beat the confirmation on GSP or English Pointers. They are built to run all day.

Thanks Cajun ! There's some really good ones out there if you know where to look . .. That's the hard part because they're a really popular dog. The difference a blood line can make is night and day ( as with most dogs ). I know you know that just Putin it out there incase someone's never heard that before haha
The trainer I was up there with was heavily influenced by Mr. Bob Wehle the man that started the Ehlew English pointers. I believe he said they were friends and he was a mentor . So much so that's why he has his name is backwards too Uodibar kennels Mr.Rabidou Elhew kennels Mr.Bob Wehle
Take care !

good looking dogs and pups...very uniform...the elhew dogs were outstanding in performance and conformation...a lot of the elhew pups would point on a wing at 6 weeks...the original breeder was one of the best dog breeders ever in my opinion...by the looks of it Mr.Rabidou learned well from his mentor...his dogs look to be very uniform in color and conformation and of the right size for all around work.
The Germans were awesome in breeding the all around German pointing breeds to include the Weimeraner...they bred them to point birds, fetch, and cast out to run and bay boar and everything else in between if needed... they kept very stringent breeding and training programs...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
