I received the email below today...the link below that tells about the amendment...ALL TEXANS that are eligible to vote must go and vote for this amendment to pass...we need to maintain our rights as FREE AMERICANS... Please pass it around to those that believe as we do...thanks I hope you've heard - Early Voting for the Constitutional Amendment Election is already going on. This November, you have the opportunity to vote for a property tax cut for yourself. Other provisions on the ballot will enshrine the right to hunt and fish in the Texas Constitution, and make sure money meant for roads is spent on roads, without raising a single cent in taxes, fees, tolls or debt. The message below is part of an email I got yesterday...if you are a Texan and can vote, please do so...thx
All too often people take for granted basic freedoms until it is too late. The right to hunt and fish in Texas is one of those rights that while it may seem to be irrevocable, is not truly guaranteed. Tomorrow, Texas voters have the opportunity to change that by voting “YES” on Proposition 6, a state constitutional amendment to protect the Lone Star State's tremendous outdoor heritage. This proposed amendment to the Texas Constitution will guarantee the right to hunt, fish and harvest wildlife and ensure that wildlife management decisions continue to be based on science – not emotional arguments peddled by outsider extremist groups.
Look for the following language on your ballot:
Proposition 6: “The constitutional amendment recognizing the right of the people to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife subject to laws that promote wildlife conservation.”
Spread the word to family, friends and fellow sportsmen that a YES vote on Prop 6 will protect Texas' outdoor traditions for generations to come!

So voting for this us suppose to happen tomorrow right? Where are the voting booths at for this? It seems to be an odd time to vote, but since im home, ill dang sure make my way out.

right now 99% of the votes are in and for passing it and for is leading by 81%...So more than likely we can say it has passed to amend the Texas State constitution

Would have been nice to know where to vote on this, along with the rest of the stuffthat came up for voting. Its no wonder how we loose our rights to do stuff or to stop an unnessesary tax when info is not disseminated to the public. Nothing was said untill last night when the numbers were coming in. I guess if a person has little else to do but monitor voting events, then i can see how they would know, but its bullnumber 2 the news media fails to report this stuff untill its to late.

Yea Charles...I had to make a few phone calls to find out where to vote...I think the news media does not communicate to us for a reason...
