Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

BTT timeline has changed. due to weather being crappy for the rest of this wk and mid way into next, ill be driving back this wkend. leaving out sat morning, depending what the passes in north oregon are like, i should be near the salt lake city, ut area by sat night early and i figure amarillo, tx by sun night early depending the road conditions coming out of denver on the cow trail of a hi way, 287. if yaw got anything going to tx along my route, let me know and ill pick it up for yaw. my destination is the temple tx area, so if i stop for you, you best pick it up in my area in a timely manner.

Good luck on the road, I wish I were goin with ya! I am dang sick of rain. I had to drive thru water and debris over the road this morn and detour way south to get to town. We have roads washed out and damaged all over the place. Safe travels!

i know what you mean. i was heading to the flt school to take my meteorology final (got a 92 this time around) and got to a detour, i ask how far the detour was, he said to take 5 north and take the exit that goes to sherwood. well I'm glad i know where that was bc there aint a sign for it on 5. i get almost to the school and there are ditches that look like class 4 rapids, water running over the road and then had to forge 6" of water to get over a bridge just before the school. I'm tired of the rain too, hopefully tx is dry when i get home. oh and by the way, i have a 4dr tck, so there is plenty of room for ya. i could use a co driver or at least someone to talk to to break the monotony of them LONG drive. just fore warning, i only stop for fuel, snuff, water, cigs and to drop the obama family off at the spiraling oval swimming pool, and try to wrap all those up in 1 fuel stop of about 500 miles apart.
and you be safe with your local travels too. these bunch of damn hippie yankies can't drive in the rain or snow.
