Friday night fun (kinda long)

We got together and went to a buddy’s place, put the young dogs on the ground and hunted them for a while with no luck, tried dumping Brie with them and still nothing they could line out. Picked up and moved locations and kicked out everything and pretty much immediately got a track they took and bayed. We turned out Bleu and took off in the corn. For once I’m in the lead weaving in and out and get there and all I see is a hog spinning in shadows and Bleu swinging around like a hoop earring and dogs baying tight. I holler SEND A BULLDOG!!! A buddy had already sent his and it was walking behind me unbeknownst to me and that little sucker flew in there and caught also. Now my boyfriend flew in too and legged it, we flip it down and our buddies get there and hobble it up and I step back and catch dogs with a buddy’s wife. He wasn’t a monster but he sure didn’t like being caught and Bleu and that bulldog were decommissioned for the rest of the hunt unless we were in dyer need. This was ok, we had 3 other cd’s that needed experience. 2nd Hog we were heading to another area and hogs blew across in front of us and the 2 other buggies stopped and kicked out dogs. We thought we had a split bay but don’t know what happened and ended up with one bayed in the corn. We turned out Pacman and another bulldog and a new bulldog and they caught and boyfriend got it legged and I held it down and 3 of us got it hobbled. That corn is something else to go through, better hope they catch solid cuz you ain’t got nothing to do if not. 3rd hog got struck and it went through some thick stuff to a pond and we sent Pacman who got his swimming cherry broke. Well he waded about chest deep across the water. Dogs had it bayed good on the opposite bank then it broke and looked like a Jaws’ fin cutting through the water rooster tails just a flying around it to a tangled mess of trees. It looked like a huge ol thing busting wake like that!!! I was in tennis shoes and shucked them and carried them through the mud and water so I could keep them. They bayed in the tangle and Pacman and the other bulldog were trying to get there when my boyfriend got close he said Brie had it caught and he was about to leg then bulldogs caught. He said that mud made it hard to find legs, lmao!! The rest of the guys got to it and fought around the tangle to hobble it. Good little barr but not the moose my brain said it was. The

others were boars. I’m so proud of my boyfriend, he’s never legged a hog himself and he got all 3 this hunt!!! He’s helped hobble but these were his first legged up and flipped. All in all dogs are gonna be good and everyone had a great time!!!
