Well, we've got a new litter too. Bred my Reba gyp to her uncle and Raylynn's brother. I wanted to breed her to Raylynn's dad but he doesn't have any swimmers left. Amos is a super nice though so I'm just as excited about him. He and Raylynn were part of a litter of 5. The worst of the 5 is a good dog so that was a high percentage litter. Reba was out of a litter of 6. One got ran over, one was given as a pet and let run  out and he started himself. He would bring pigs and shoats up to the house, be gone for hours and be bayed in the river bottom, come home cut, etc. Two more are being hunted and are really nice dogs. One got killed at just over a year old on a fluke cut. He was already a dependable find dog. I mean hard hunting, stay put, grub it out, with or without help. Reba is nice and only been hunted enough for me to know she is just like the rest of them. She got bit by a spider on a front foot and it dislocated a toe and rotted her pad out. She'll never be right again but she still hunts and won't quit but has to be layed up because that foot gets raw due to no pad. Some might not have bred her, but I'm not even a little bit worried. I have some super high hopes for these. Obviously the first 2 pics are Reba and her chillrens. Pic 3 is Amos the sire and Raylynn's full brother. Pic 4 is Reba to.the left and Ava (Raylynn's daughter). Pic 5 is Raylynn's dad and Reba. Pic 6 is Raylynn and Ava. So you can see what I'm hoping to get build wise too.

I've been lucky so far but I've tried to breed to the high percentages. We all know you can breed two super stars together and get  duds. Of my last 4 litters, the one I would've bet on to produce the best was the worst. No guarantees lol
