dad called said he saw a good boar down by pond so me and the boys load up the dogs and go across the street. bay up about 10 mins in the woods ran about 75 yards bays dogs caught this boar then pits got there and caught also. cut up all our dogs and killed my 4 year ol crossed dog.. boar weighed 235 at sale later that night. 3 boars 3 days only one dog out of 6 of my boys can hunt. off for a few weeks now.. sucks

Starting off, we had WAY too many dogs, especially pups on this hunt. I dont think any of us really knew how many dogs each of us were bringing and we ended up with 9 baydogs on the ground. Alans (dognhogs84) catch dogs were out from their hunt the day before so i brought my 2 bulldogs along. Almost everyone of the dogs struck out on this boar at the same time, and apparently one or two of them tried to get too catchy and tried the hog, and when i got there Alans Cowboy dog, bo sefus, and Festus were fighting the boar in about a knee deep creek. Festus was caught on the ear, cowboy was working the hog from the side, and bo sefus was on the other ear until he got hit and let go. Meathead and Tom both jumped the bank about that time and anchored down. Me and Alan leg the hog and finally get him drug to the bank. Out of 9 baydogs, 7 were cut and bo sefus was gutted to the extent that there was no saving him.
I sure hate that happened to him Alan, but as we all know, thats part of Hog Doggin.
