 well me charlie and mitch loaded up this mornin and headed to nellinvill,(outside of greenvill) to meet chase and his buddy chase. got there and they were late. pulled into tha gate and headed to tha bottom. got dogs unloaded, and chase let me put one of his garmin collars on brownie, my blu dog. cut em all loose and of course brownie runs around 50 feet in front of me(prolly cuz i was so excited about finnaly gettin to see how far she travles) ne ways that changed real fast. when we crossed tha river, brownie disapears, i knew she was gonna do it just figured it would have been faster than that. chase tracts her at 500plus. then she does her normal 3 barks and other dogs take off, chases dog right next to her opens up, we get there and brownie, emma and chases dogs got her bayed solid.charlie runs in and relizes no dogs got a mouth on her.turn catch dogs loose and my dog emma, brownie, and chase dog all get a mouth on her. chases buddy, who is also named chase has a bulldog locked on tha snout. charlie legs her, chase makes tha stick. come to find out its one of tha bull dogs first pig in woods, and chases buddy to. i know he was proud, cuz she was heck to break off that pig. great mouth on tha brindle dog chase!! ne way cut brownie loose and she gets tha heck outta dodge, chases catuhla dog right behind her. they open up again and pigs break, about 10 diff times. finally chases dog comes back, but no brownie. we track her and she lost signal. cross river again, and my young dog gunner gets stuck up on river bed and wont come down, he opens up and acts a fool and causes brownie to come back. when she relizez its nothin she heads for tha hills again, found her a hour or so later, layed up, cut a little bit but mainly wore out. i leash her and she wont lead, limpin real bad, so i just let her walk, turn around to check on her and she layin down. she was done, so i put her around my shoulders and head to tha truck. as we were walkin, chase made tha comment "garmin showed her traveled 11miles, i was proud and shocked. |
