I know some of yall work cows and hunt hogs with the same dogs, just want to know how your dogs know which one you are wanting to work when you let them go. I have some young dogs that are doing good on hogs, but i also would like to work cattle with them when needed. What do yall think. Thanks in advance for any help.

i use mine for both but we dont have hogs everywhere and so far not where there is any cattle .
if they were to trash on a hog while hunting cattle it wouldnt bother me , i'd just take a little break and catch a hog lol . if they trashed on a cow i'd just call them of and they'd know hopefully that we were hog hunting .

Like jdt said, have a good handle on the dogs. Talk to Silverton Boar Dogs, Im sure he would be more than happy to give you some pointers, and he really knows his stuff. His hog/cow dogs and the handle he has on them really impresses me!
