Does anyone know of any groups or organizations in Oklahoma that take in wild hogs for meat? I know in deer season we can donate meat to hunters against hunger, but was wondering about hogs.  I have a landowner that lets me run dogs on his land, but he is getting ready to plant crops and asked me to set some traps on his land to try and get rid of some more hogs. He is supplying the trap material and bait, so I really cant say no.  I would like to keep some for eating, and some for working the dogs, but hopefully will catch more than I need and would like to put the rest to good use. I plan on calling the wildlife dept. to see what they have to say, but was just wondering if anyone here had any ideas. Thanks.

P.S. This is in northeastern oklahoma, not really lookin to go out west or too far south, looking for something fairly local.

no hog buys in our area that i know of,,    Leach auction is every other fri night, they might not bring much at the sale but its a good place to make contacts.   mostly vietnamies buying them to eat.   run a craigslist ad when you get some to sale..
