Hit a new place Sunday morning.  Landowner said he had hogs and boy was he right.  Dogs started whining on the Rangers so we stopped and cut them loose.  Rooney and Track tore a$$ and bayed up together at 450 yds.  June, Sam and Leo had a nice rally going at 148yds that sounded awesome.  No telling how many they had bunched up.  Cut Debo, Bomber and Stag Dallas out to them.  Got there and Debo had a 270lb sow caught, Bomber and Dallas were chasing down a different hog - you guys know how it is - pigs everywhere.  We flip the big sow and dogs roll off on another good sow that damn near ran over the landowner as he was coming to us.  Tied up the big girl and went to the next bay.  Another sow, 205lb tied.  Meanwhile, Track and Rooney are still hammering away at what we think was another group of hogs.  Dogs rolled out and went to them.  Guess when they got there they broke because Leo, Sam and Dallas had a 50 pounder caught in a tank while Tracker and Rooney had one caught the same size on the other side.

It was a good morning - all of this took place within the first 30 minutes of the hunt which was good cause it started getting hot quick.  It was nice to get on a group.  We don't do that often.  Seems like we're always catching a lone boar or 1-2 hogs together at a time.  Our dogs need to work on the "rolling out" part and yesterday was a good day for them as they had the opportunity to do so.

Only action shot I got.  Didn't have a camera man with us.

Dallas - my Stag project.  A work in progress (hopefully).

Dang good hunt man,.....just once....once in my life I'd like to bay a hog out in the open like the one in that pic. Don't remember ever doing that. Hope your stag works out for you.
