Well dont have many pics due to a terrible camera man (myself) but plenty of good Okie action.
Me and Strikedogkennel traveled north to Oklahoma to meet our close running partner Bayedhardhogdogs and throw down some Yellers.
First night we caught two out of a good lil sounder that were as heavy blooded hogs as I have witnessed in awhile. Actually a good feeling not to see so much D@mm Russian. Sorry no pics.
Second night we got on a cold track off of the river and ran some yellers up in a set of flooded timber just in time to catch a heavy rain storm that ultimately killed our track but located the bedding areas when the bottom fell out on us. DANG its colder in Oklahoma than East Texas.
Third night we we hit paydirt again on another spot and got some great action and worked a set of yellers to death on a large sounder. Caught a small boar that broke from herd (only pic I got and isn't to good to boot)
Split bayed another set and set up a nice boar on the bank of a large creek but took us forever to get there. Turned catchdog loose and herd the bay break seconds before the catchdogs hit. Ran that wooley booger till daylight and dogs finally blowed their pads and limped it on out.
Thanks to Coal and family for putting us up and feeding us along with putting us in some good Okie bacon.
Always a pleasure with these boys and their families.
See yall in a few months when yall return south to tha thicket for your returned favor.
Enjoy my two sad pics. Haha.
