my buddy gave me about 10 tubes of ivermectin 1.87 paste. can i use the same dosage for this as i would zimmectrin?

I don't use the ivomec which is 1 percent in liquid form...and I don't measure exact but I alway give a little extra...the cream comes in quite a few brands at TSC and other feed stores but all that I have seen are 1.87 percent...I squeeze out what is about a cc and put it on the dogs tongue...I don't use it for intestinal worms...I use strongid paste which is in the same area as the zimectrin, strongid comes in generic brands as well and it is a yellow paste (Pyrantel pamoate) and it is for round and hook worms...that yellow paste is pretty forgiving...I squeeze off about 100 pounds for a 50 pound dog...
