Well my neighbor Paxton has been on two hunts with me so far and we haven't found jack. So I invited him again to change our luck but I told him if we have another dry run he couldn't go anymore because he was bad luck

. We went to my deer lease and hunted the feeders. We loaded up the dogs on the ranger and eased into the back of the property. We dropped Goose and Thor and they take off about three hundred yards away from us. We were sitting their and we could hear some hogs grunting not far from us so we dropped Blue Duck, Call and Red. It wasn't long and we had a bay. I had Rhino on a lead and we got within hundred yards of the bay and I cut Rhino loose. They had a small sow on lockdown and I legged her and Paxton got his first stick. The cool thing about is Paxton made his knife by hand it handled some business. We cruised around the lease looking for some more action. We dropped Thor and Goose into some thick mesquite to see if they could work something out. They get out about 500 yards from us and Thor takes off to the west about 900 yards then heading north. We heard some more grunting from a distance so we cut the rest of the dogs loose, about a minute later the dogs open up an we head in. We got within one hundred yards and let Rhino go, we heard the squeel and headed in. I legged the sow and Paxton made a good stick. I noticed Thor wasn't at the bay so I looked on the garmin and he was .75 miles away, I got away from the dogs to listen if he was baying. Sure enough he had one, we got the dogs off the hog to go help Thor, we finally made it to Thor about ten minutes later trying to navigate through the thick mesquite. He had a big sow bayed up, I let Rhino go to help Thor out, I legged the sow and Paxton made another good stick. Paxton is now addicted to dogging he says thats all he thinks about. Heres a few pics.
