I have been out of town for a few days and I just checked on all my dogs and one had cut the pad on his foot. It's pretty bad. Never had one do it on the main pad. I have no problem taken him to the vet. Do they normally stich that or can they glue it? I normally dr all the dogs unless it's major and this doesn't look like I could fix it.

Stitches dont tend to hold too well in pads, glue is ur best best and wrap like mbennet said. just watch him for eatin the wrap

Thanks for the replies.Got somebody to swing him by the vet and they wanted to put him to sleep and sew it. The vet I use wasn't there so my buddy said he would come back. I'll take him tomorrow and ask if they will glue it. It's probably 1.5" gap in his pad

Will a pad just not heal like a normal cut (wont heal back together)? Is that the reason for the super glue or is it just a quicker fix?
